Welcome to Pitman Elementary School, home of learners grades 2nd-6th. PES officially opened its doors in the fall of 2023, after the consolidation of W.C.K Walls and Elwood Kindle Elementary Schools. As one of the building principals, I am proud to serve over 420 students and families in the Pitman community! I am honored to have the opportunity to lead an amazing school with a rich tradition of education and passion for serving children. 

 

My passion for education and supporting the success of ALL students has been shaped over the past 24 years as a kindergarten, first, second, and third grade teacher, instructional reading coach, assistant principal and principal. I have been so fortunate to be a building principal in Pitman for 7 years and counting! However, I consider my greatest accomplishment to be my family. I am happily married to my husband, Josh, and we have two children, Jake (19) and Emma (16). We love to travel, watch lacrosse games, root for Air Force Academy, and spend time with family and friends. 

I will treat every child as if they are my own and will work tirelessly to ensure that all children have the best possible school experience here at PES. My vision is simple: always do what is best for kids. Alongside all stakeholders, I will work hard to ensure every student thrives, grows and learns through meaningful instruction, and a positive, nurturing school environment.
